He has over 15 years’ experience in Strategy Management, Grants Management, and Financial
Management, having worked on projects funded by the World Bank, the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, the United States Agency for International Development, and the European Union, among others.

In 2017, Ben received the National Grants Management Association’s prestigious Newton Award for outstanding, sustained leadership in the field of Grants Management, and for making a difference in the Grants Management profession.

In July 2022, he received the Nepris Impact Award for supporting equity of access to career
opportunities through extensive education outreach with classrooms across the United States. He also received the Nepris Trailblazer Award in March 2022, for his commitment to preparing students for the future of work through virtual, skills-based volunteering.

He is the Founder and Managing Partner at BKQ Consulting LLC.
