Vikas Chandra is a Strategy-to-Execution and Operating Model Advisor who has spent 16 years helping CXOs close the gap between strategic ambition and organizational reality — the space where most transformations actually fail. His premise is a simple one: strategy rarely collapses because the plan was wrong. It collapses because the organization cannot translate intent into coordinated execution across operating model, governance, capabilities, and technology.

He currently serves as Vice President, Product & Revenue Strategy at JioStar, where he leads enterprise-wide transformation across a $150M+ multi-product portfolio spanning Movies, Kids, National Geographic, and MTV. In under two years, his work has included introducing AI-enabled pricing and monetization workflows that lifted revenue by approximately 10 percent, and turning around a loss-making portfolio to profitability within twelve months — shifting margins from -8 percent to +12 percent through cost transformation and sharper portfolio prioritization.

Before JioStar, Vikas spent nearly five years embedded within The Walt Disney Company’s global strategy function in Burbank, shaping growth strategy and operating-model design across Disney’s businesses in India and beyond. There he co-created enterprise-level monetization strategy that contributed to $720M in operating profit (a 15 percent year-over-year increase), built AI-driven commercial engines that improved client ROI by 1.5x, and designed unified OKR, forecasting, and governance models that accelerated decision-making across product, sales, finance, and content teams. He also led business-continuity and organizational-resilience planning across APAC, EMEA, and LATAM during periods of significant disruption.

Earlier in his career, Vikas was Business Head at Pentation Analytics, an AI/ML-based SaaS platform serving BFSI enterprises, where he scaled the business roughly sixfold in eighteen months and drove a 15 percent improvement in client retention through predictive analytics and churn modeling. He also co-founded Dialogues, a community-space venture in Bengaluru that reached break-even within three months of launch, and spent nearly six years in corporate strategy at Bennett Coleman & Co. (the Times Group), where he delivered 32 percent year-over-year growth through digital enablement and built a three-year strategic architecture in partnership with the C-suite.

What runs through all of it — media, analytics, logistics, and a media-and-entertainment giant navigating streaming disruption — is the same discipline: turning ambiguity into structure, and structure into an executable plan with clear ownership and measurable outcomes. That is what makes his perspective a natural fit for LTSP26’s core premise, that strategy in the age of AI is not a workflow you can shortcut with a chatbot prompt, but a process that still has to be built, sequenced, and owned.

Vikas holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad. He is based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
