Alexina Prather is a social impact professional and entrepreneur. She is the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) at CorpCare, a women-led social impact consultancy based in Kingston, JA. CorpCare’s mission is to prove that businesses that do good, do better. 

Alexina joins the CorpCare team in a remote capacity from Miami, FL where she directs an initiative called Axis Helps that supports Miami-based women and minority-owned small businesses by helping them navigate and access resources. She is passionate about financial inclusion initiatives that provide access to capital for entrepreneurs that are historically under-resourced. 

In 2020, Alexina graduated with the inaugural class from the University of Miami Herbert Business School’s STEM-designated Master of Science in Sustainable Business. Her passion for social entrepreneurship was first sparked during her undergraduate degree at Northeastern University in Boston, MA where she studied both Human Services and Global Social Entrepreneurship. 

Prior to relocating to Miami, Alexina lived in New York, NY working for an international social enterprise providing asset-based loans to subsistence farmers in East Africa. 

In her free time, Alexina loves to upcycle clothing and promote the secondhand clothing industry through her business, Shop Alexina which she founded in 2019.
